The Library of Congress Shop

Location: Thomas Jefferson Building, Ground Floor
Hours: Monday–Saturday 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

The Library of Congress Shop offers unique items from the Library’s wide collection, which includes exhibit related items, facsimiles, souvenirs, prints and photographs, and books for the whole family. Come share the gift of knowledge and support the Library’s mission of preservation and education!

Library Cafeterias

All Library of Congress buildings are closed to the public on Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. The Madison and Adams buildings are closed all other federal holidays. Most dining and food service areas are located in the James Madison Building.

Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Madison Coffee Shop (LM G47)
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Adams Coffee Shop (LA 110)
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Vending Machines (LM G47 and G49)
Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
